The regions must follow the controller &gt; site &gt; cell hierarchy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"HOW_TO_USE\"><strong>HOW TO USE<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/help.bwtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Manage_Region_1.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-495\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-495\" src=\"https:\/\/help.bwtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Manage_Region_1.png\" alt=\"Manage_Region_1\" width=\"698\" height=\"589\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 \u2013<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First, select where you want to create a new region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>2 \u2013\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>ADD<\/strong><\/span> and a new window will open.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>3 \u2013<\/strong><\/span> In this window, drag all the elements you want to include in the region.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>4 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Then, click on <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>ADD<\/strong><\/span> and your new region is created!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/help.bwtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Manage_Region_2-3.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-500\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-500\" src=\"https:\/\/help.bwtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Manage_Region_2-3.png\" alt=\"Manage_Region_2\" width=\"707\" height=\"596\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>1 \u2013<\/strong><\/span> Click <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>+ Add Region<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0to create a folder to the new cluster.<br \/>\nThe + Add Region button is available inside all Region Folders.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>2 \u2013<\/strong><\/span> Give a name to the cluster.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>3 \u2013<\/strong> <\/span>Click <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>OK<\/strong><\/span> to create the folder with the cluster name you created.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>4 \u2013<\/strong> <\/span>Or cancel it.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>5 \u2013<\/strong> <\/span>Click to <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Add Items<\/strong><\/span> to the created folder.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">NOTE: <\/span><\/strong>This option is displayed only when a folder is selected.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>6 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Click to <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Rename<\/strong><\/span> the folder.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">NOTE: <\/span><\/strong>This option is displayed only when a folder is selected.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>7 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Click to <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Delete<\/strong><\/span> the folder.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">NOTE:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>This option is displayed\u00a0only when\u00a0a folder is selected.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>8 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Select the elements in the treeview and drag them to the window.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">NOTE:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>use the Ctrl button to select more than one element at a time.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>9 \u2013<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Click to delete one or more elements.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>10 \u2013<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Click <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Add<\/strong><\/span> to include the elements in the folder.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>11 \u2013<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Or <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Clear<\/strong><\/span> them.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"TIPs\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\">TIPs<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are two macro types of regions in NetChart: public and private.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>NOTE:<\/strong><\/span> Not all users have permission to create a public region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/help.bwtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Manage_Region_3.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-497\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-497\" src=\"https:\/\/help.bwtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Manage_Region_3.png\" alt=\"Manage_Region_3\" width=\"249\" height=\"425\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>1 \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Public\u00a0Controller Regions. (BSC Regions, RNC Regions&#8230;)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>2 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Public Cell Regions.\u00a0(Cell Regions, BTS Regions, GCELL Regions\u2026)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>3 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Private Controller Regions. The final created region will be the one in your file. If you leave it unchecked and the region already exists, the children on your file will be added to it.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3 \u2013<\/span> Include in user regions:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0if checked, regions will be imported inside User Regions, &#8211; will be visible only to the current user. Otherwise, it will be available to everybody<br \/>\nPS: Only manage users may import public regions.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>4\u00a0\u2013 <\/strong><\/span>Click to download the Import Regions\u00a0template.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>5 \u2013<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Click <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>GO<\/strong><\/span> to create the cluster.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Export_Regions\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><strong>Export Regions<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/help.bwtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Manage_Region_5.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-509\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-509\" src=\"https:\/\/help.bwtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Manage_Region_5.png\" alt=\"Manage_Region_5\" width=\"1340\" height=\"403\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>1 \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Select in the treeview, the region that you want to export.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>2 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0C<\/span>lick <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>GO<\/strong><\/span> to export it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Creating_Region_withnonexistent_elements\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><strong>Creating Region with\u00a0nonexistent elements<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<h4><span id=\"Custom_gtRegions_gtImport_Regions\"><strong>Custom &gt;\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Regions \u00a0&gt;\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Import Regions<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Select function Import Regions from the menu Custom &gt; Regions &gt; Import Regions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/help.bwtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/manage_regions.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-664\" src=\"https:\/\/help.bwtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/manage_regions.png\" alt=\"manage_regions\" width=\"263\" height=\"198\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Select input file for the region to be created, and check the option &#8220;Include nonexistent elements&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/help.bwtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/manage_regions_1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-665\" src=\"https:\/\/help.bwtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/manage_regions_1.png\" alt=\"manage_regions_1\" width=\"784\" height=\"434\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Elements that do not exist will be displayed in the region in grey, and they will not be present in the results of any NetChart functions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/help.bwtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/manage_regions_2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-666\" src=\"https:\/\/help.bwtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/manage_regions_2.png\" alt=\"manage_regions_2\" width=\"233\" height=\"114\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">NOTE:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0Every day the regions will be automatically updated.
