OVERVIEW<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n
This feature can be used to set some characteristics of NetChart on your user account. Here you can choose your preferences.<\/p>\n

HOW TO USE<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n
On the NetChart menu, on the top right, click on your user name. Then select preferences.<\/p>\n

\nNOTE:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0This field can not be changed, if there is an error, contact us on support@bwtech.com<\/span><\/p>\n2 –<\/strong> The user full name.<\/span>
\nNOTE:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>This field can not be changed, if there is an error, contact us on support@bwtech.com<\/span><\/p>\n3 –<\/strong> The user phone.\u00a0Please put the country\/area code in the number.<\/span><\/p>\n
4 –<\/strong>\u00a0The user’s e-mail address.\u00a0Be sure to maintain this field updated since it is the main contact way between Netchart and the user.<\/span><\/p>\n
5 –<\/strong> Put the old password to change it.<\/span><\/p>\n
6 –<\/strong> Type a new one.<\/span><\/p>\n
7 –<\/strong> And repeat it.<\/span><\/p>\n
8 –\u00a0<\/strong>Choose “Yes” in this field if you want to receive emails about the tool updates.<\/span><\/p>\n

After you finish filling out your\u00a0user preferences, just click\u00a0on the\u00a0Save<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0button, on the upper right.<\/p>\n

Chart\u00a0Preferences<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n1 –\u00a0<\/strong>Choose if you want to display a chart with more detailed title, like Function Path – Used Element – Used Date – Aggregation Time<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
2 –\u00a0<\/strong>Choose if you want to display the legend by default on the chart.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
3 –<\/strong> Here you can choose if you want to apply metric prefixes or not.<\/p>\n
4 –<\/strong> And here, if you want your graph to have extra range.<\/p>\n
5\u00a0– <\/strong>Select Fit Screen to let the size of the graphs suit the current size of your screen.
\nNOTE:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>We really advise the users to choose the size ‘fit screen’ with table size ‘2×2’ to visualize better the exported charts. Other good options can be: 800×500, 400×300, 500×400, 640×480.<\/span><\/p>\n6\u00a0–<\/strong>\u00a0Here you choose how many columns will your legend use.<\/span><\/p>\n
7\u00a0–<\/strong> The position your chart legend will be.<\/p>\n
8 –<\/strong> And the legend font size.<\/p>\n
9 –\u00a0<\/strong>Select the default display mode of the charts.
\nNOTE:<\/strong><\/span> 2×2 means 2 column charts in 2 lines.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
After you finish filling out your chart preferences, just click\u00a0on the\u00a0Save<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0button, on the upper right.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n1 –\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Here you can choose if you want the NetChart’s default configuration date to be the last one available or from a specific day.<\/span><\/p>\n
2 –<\/strong> Order the elements in the treeview by controller Name or by controller ID.<\/span>
\nNOTE:<\/strong><\/span> Only the controllers’ order is modified, the other elements of the treeview are always ordered by the id.<\/span><\/p>\n3 –<\/strong> Choose the treeview mode.<\/span>
\n Historic mode:<\/b> parameter data from the last 15 days will be used.<\/span>
\nLast\u00a0mode:<\/b> only data from the last available parameters day will be displayed.<\/span><\/p>\n4 – <\/span><\/strong>Choose if you want the Planned Network to show on your treeview.<\/span><\/p>\n
5\u00a0–<\/strong>\u00a0Here you can choose if you want the element selected on the treeview to be locked\/fixed when using any NetChart feature. <\/span><\/p>\n
Example:<\/strong>\u00a0By choosing “Yes” when you want to run a chart of a specific treeview element, it will automatically show in the tab, as shown in the image below. <\/span><\/p>\n
