NetChart 

Improvements 

• PDF Chart Export: improved image definition. Now it is possible to zoom in and see details in higher definition.
• Traffic Forecast Alert: user interface was improved. Now, the colors indicate the proximity of the occurrence.
• MapChart: now it is possible to select BTS elements (Nokia 2G).

• Linux Compatibility: NetChart now fully supports Linux for both ingestion and backend environments, with all import programs adapted to run on Linux.

• Upgrade backup method to consume less storage space.
• Improved report export: now, heavy files are zipped to facilitate download.
• Improved the processing process to prevent data duplication.

NetWarden  

New feature 

• Congestion check:
  • Users can now run a congestion check through the Investigate button, assessing whether the network is experiencing congestion based on critical KPIs like Downlink and Uplink Physical Resource Block utilization.
  • The congestion check compares these KPIs against customizable thresholds. If a KPI exceeds the threshold, it indicates potential network congestion.
  • When congestion is detected (NOK result), users can further investigate related metrics, including average number of users, available bandwidth, cell radius, and operational parameters, all visualized through interactive charts and detailed tables for deeper analysis.

NetChart 

Improvements 

• Heavy Report Export: Reports exceeding 100MB are now converted to compressed .csv format, ensuring swift downloads while maintaining user-friendly formatting. Previously, files were exported in compressed .txr format. 

• Enhanced MapChart Information for Transmission Elements: Slot, port, bandwidth, modulation, and Busy Hour start time information are now visible on MapChart. 

• Robust Import for Cells with Identical Names: The region upload template has been updated to accommodate hierarchical information and differentiate elements with similar names. 

• Improved One-Click Correlation Visualization – CM Changes: Data tables are now tabulated, with one tab displaying executed KPI data and another tab containing CM Changes information. 

• Enhanced KPI Creation Flexibility: Users can now combine counters from different tables using various operators (SUM, AVG, MAX, MIN, etc.), providing more versatile KPI formulation options. 

• PDF Graph Export: Special characters in graph legends are now supported for export. 

• Refined Multi-Level Region KPI Calculation: The “Recursive” option available when selecting aggregation by sub-folder, was improved for KPI calculation accuracy across different organizational levels.

• Resolved “Too Many Connections” Error: Measures have been implemented to prevent future occurrences of this error. 

 

New data formats 

• FM parser update to support multiple date formats in generated files.

• Duplicate File Handling: NetMUSE now identifies and processes only unique CDR records, eliminating duplicate entries. 

• Administrator Monitoring of Failed CDRs: A real-time dashboard is now available, offering statistics on ingestion processes for swift failure detection. 

• Enhanced Feedback in the Process of Updating Enrichment Tables: When updating enrichment tables via the API, a more comprehensive log now provides insights into the reasons for failed uploads. 

• The API now enables report export via ‘execution ID’: This new feature streamlines report selection. 

• “Enhanced Efficiency in Environment Monitoring: Email alerts have been implemented to swiftly address failures in the NetMUSE environment, particularly beneficial for clients managing their on-premises environments. 

• Enhanced Ingestion Process Availability: The ingestion process is now unaffected by database maintenance routines, ensuring uninterrupted operation. 

NetWarden  

New feature 

• New Feature – Preliminary Analysis:  

• • Through the ‘more’ button available in the ‘Global KPIs’ section, users can now conduct a comprehensive analysis of cells with anomalies, also viewing the KPI value at the regional level.  

• • This new panel allows examination of daily and ROP-specific KPI values, as well as breaking down the formula to investigate the numerator, denominator, and involved counters.  

• • This enables gathering more insights into the issue and preemptively dismissing false positives before investing further time in root cause analysis. 

Bug fixes  

• Bux fix for the export function: the loading message continued to be displayed even after downloading the file now behaves as expected.

Improvements 

• Improvements to the Scheduler’s interface:  

• • New format for Scheduled tasks table: now it is possible to sort tasks by column, and search/filter tasks. 
  • New ‘Edit task’ button in the Selected Task Information tab: now the edit option is more accessible. 

New data formats 

• NetChart was updated to product version BTS5900 V100R019C10SPC160 and is now compatible with HUAWEI___5G___CM___XML___EXPORT and HUAWEI___RAN___CM___XML___GEXPORT .

NetMUSE  

Improvements 

• Now it is possible to execute reports through the new play button added to all possible statuses on the Performed Reports screen. 

Bug fixes 

• Bux fix for time zone inconsistency issues. 
• Bug fix for the clock in the See Details section on the Network Elements screen that was malfunctioning. 
• Bug fix that redirected users to the Field Selection screen when clicking on ‘Save and Run.’ 
• Addition of an error message to prevent reports named with quotation marks from causing failures. 
• Bug fix preventing reports executed between 9 PM and midnight from running successfully. 
• Bug fix for a behavior that limited the number of rows in the NetMUSE report to a low value. 

NetWarden 

Improvements 

• Now it is possible to see KPIs values at region level. The new “Global KPIs” section displays the KPIs monitored by NetWarden, aggregated by all loaded elements.

NetChart 

New features 

• A button has been added to the options menu to automate the generation of the correction script file. Prior to this implementation, users had to wait for the multiple checks to run before clicking on a button to generate the correction script. 

Improvements 

• Improvements to the NPS Module: 

• • Feature to log when users ignore the NPS survey and do not respond. 

• • Reducing the time for the NPS survey to reappear for users who choose ‘Not now’ to 1 week instead of 3 months.

• Inclusion of BH Period Start Time on MapChart. This feature adds the Period Start Time (Busy Hour) hour information in the element properties table in MapChart after running a BH KPI.

NetWarden 

New features
 

• KPI drill down: this feature makes it possible to see how the KPI is performing near real time, so the user could verify if the anomaly pointed by NetWarden for the day before is likely to be happening in the time of the analysis. It also helps to identify when an anomaly was caused by missing data.  

• Official release of the Severity Margins feature. Now, it is possible to see the margins of gravity of the anomaly in the KPI chart. 

Improvements 

• Usability improvement: now, the number of occurrences is counted by KPI, not by cell. In other words, NetWarden checks, for each anomalous cell, how many times each of the KPIs configured for the vendor and technology has been considered anomalous in the last 7 days. 

• Change in the check’s name from Other Anomalies to Detected Anomalies.

Traffic Forecast 

New feature 

• The new advanced feature Traffic Forecast predicts the network voice and data traffic KPIs with machine learning models. 
  The Traffic Forecast feature helps users to focus on taking actions to proactively handle relevant cases. It considers trend, seasonality and special dates when informed. Once configured, it enables the user to automate this type of data analysis for all desired regions and elements, avoiding waste of time with the manual work of analyzing big volumes of past data with external tools.

• Order and filter Abnormal Cells by the number of connected users aggregated by Busy Hour.
