DOWNLOAD RAW PARAMETERS

OVERVIEW

This function is used to download the parameters from a selected table(s). You can choose which parameters you desire to download from each table.

NOTE: The configuration of all the parameters in NetChart is updated once a day, usually in the morning. So, the done parameter changes in the current day can only be seen in the system on the next update.

HOW TO USE

 

1 – Select the element to download the parameters.

2 – Select in Options, the day(s) that you want to see the configuration.

3 – Select the tables whose parameters will be analyzed. It is possible selecting more than one table by once. To see the selected tables, click at the Show Selected button.

4 – Type the parameters that you are looking for.

5 – All parameters come selected by default. If you want to choose just some parameters, unselect the Select All button and click on desired parameters.

6 – To select the parameter keys that identify the elements click at Select Keys. These parameters are like “dateday”, “name”, “DN_RNC”, “DN_WBTS”, etc.

7 – The table corresponding to the parameters displayed.

8 – All the parameters belonging to the chosen table, as commented above in number 7. The selected parameters are highlighted in dark blue.

9 – Click on GO to download the parameters of the selected table(s).

10– Save the preference with the tables that you use often.

11 – The selected tables come separated by tabs. In each one, you will find the parameters corresponding to this table.

12 – Search by parameter values.

13 – The values of the selected parameters, note that they are shown in the order they were selected.

14 – Download the file with the parameters.

USE CASES

Use the download raw parameters option to create regions in NetChart. One of the fields that you need to fill to create regions is Element Name, as you can see the on the template:

As name is a parameter of elements, you can download it. If you want to create an RNC region, you need to download the name of the RNCs that are available in the RNC table, or if you want a SITE region, select the WBTS table.

In the image below, the name of the RNCs from all Network Nokia3G was downloaded. Download or copy these names to fill the template and create regions.
