MR SIG FILES

For Ericsson 4G, we use MR SIG files. Below we describe how each event is detected.

DNS_CALL_ACCESS
EVT_CALL_ACCESS
Occurs when a call successfully enters a cell in eNB – can be after either successful incoming handover or successful RRC setup.

detected from MR SIG event “PublicInfo”.

 

DNS_UE_CONTEXT_RELEASE EVT_UE_CONTEXT_RELEASE Occurs when eNB shall release UE-related resources. S1AP UE Context Release Request (eNB or MME initiated) or X2AP UE Context Release Request (initiated by target eNB but reported in source eNB/cell).

detected from MR SIG event “PrivateUeContextSetup”.

DNS_RRC_CONNECTION_REQUEST EVT_RRC_CONNECTION_REQUEST detected from MR SIG event “RrcConnReq”;
DNS_CALL_ENDED_SUCCESS EVT_CALL_ENDED_SUCCESS Occurs when call is terminated successfully.

detected from MR SIG event “PrivateUeContextRelease” and “enRadioNwOrNas” is “NORMAL_RELEASE” or “DETACH” or “SUCCESSFUL_HANDOVER” or  “RADIO_NW_USER_INACTIVITY” or “RADIO_NW_CS_FALLBACK_TRIGGERED” or “RADIO_NW_INTER-RAT_REDIRECTION”.

DNS_CALL_DROPPED
EVT_CALL_DROPPED
Occurs when call is terminated with a failure.

detected from MR SIG event “PrivateUeContextRelease” and “enRadioNwOrNas” is not “NORMAL_RELEASE” or “DETACH” or “SUCCESSFUL_HANDOVER” or  “RADIO_NW_USER_INACTIVITY” or “RADIO_NW_CS_FALLBACK_TRIGGERED” or “RADIO_NW_INTER-RAT_REDIRECTION”.

DNS_INCOMING_HO_SUCCESS EVT_INCOMING_HO_SUCCESS Occurs when incoming handover is attempted to a cell
Refers to any sort of handover: intra-RAT (X2 or S1 based) and inter-RAT (from other technologies, UTRAN to EUTRAN, WiFi to EUTRAN).detected from MR SIG event “PrivateHoIn” when “ucHoExecRslt” = HO_SUCCESS 
DNS_INCOMING_HO_FAILURE EVT_INCOMING_HO_FAILURE Occurs when incoming handover is attempted to a cell
Refers to any sort of handover: intra-RAT (X2 or S1 based) and inter-RAT (from other technologies, UTRAN to EUTRAN, WiFi to EUTRAN).detected from MR SIG event “PrivateHoIn” when “ucHoExecRslt” is not “HO_SUCCESS”

Refers to any sort fo intra-RAT handovers: intra-eNB, inter-eNB, inter-MME, X2 based, S1 based.detected from MR SIG event “PrivateIntraRatHoOut”  when “ucHoRslt” = HO_SUCCESS.
DNS_OUTGOING_INTRA_RAT_HO_FAILURE EVT_OUTGOING_INTRA_RAT_HO_FAILURE Occurs when intra-rat (LTE to LTE) handover is attempted.
Refers to any sort fo intra-RAT handovers: intra-eNB, inter-eNB, inter-MME, X2 based, S1 based.detected from MR SIG event “PrivateIntraRatHoOut” when “ucHoRslt” is not HO_SUCCESS.

DNS_ERAB_SETUP

EVT_ERAB_SETUP

Occurs when additional non-default and non-signalling dedicated ERAB is set up during a call.
detected from MR SIG event “PrivateErabSetup”.
DNS_ERAB_RELEASE

EVT_ERAB_RELEASE

Occurs when any additional non-default and non-signalling dedicated ERAB are released (can be normal or abnormal release, or handover etc).

detected from MR SIG event “PrivateErabRelease”.

DNS_VOICE_ERAB_SETUP EVT_VOICE_ERAB_SETUP Occurs when additional non-default and non-signalling dedicated ERAB is set up during a call with QCI = 1 which is related to VoLTE call.
It is created together with ERAB_SETUP event if one of the created ERABs has QCI = 1.detected from MR SIG event “PrivateErabSetup” when QCI = 1.
DNS_VOICE_ERAB_RELEASE EVT_VOICE_ERAB_RELEASE Occurs when additional non-default and non-signalling dedicated ERAB with QCI = 1 is released (can be normal or abnormal release, or handover etc).
It is created together with ERAB_RELEASE event if one of the created ERABs has QCI = 1.detected from MR SIG event “PrivateErabRelease” when QCI = 1.
DNS_RRC_CONN_RELEASE
EVT_RRC_CONN_RELEASE
Occurs after RRC CONNECTION RELEASE message.
